We bought our first Blue Heeler in May of 1992. She was our "baby" at the time and Fancy served us well during her 10 short years. A wonderful, true cattle dog who couldn't have been a more loyal companion to us. She instilled the love in us that we have for this breed today. Fancy went to Heaven July of 2002.

Now, for a little bit on our family. My name is Amy. Me and my wonderful husband Chris have been married since 1991 and we have three wonderful children. We live in Tennessee's oldest town of Jonesborough. A beautiful place we call home, born and raised here, nestled close to the Appalachian mountains, rolling fields and farms, woods to explore, just lots of nature and good neighbors to enjoy. We have LOTS to keep us busy and I also do photography on a part-time basis. Visit my photography website! And not to mention.......MY DOGS! My family and my dogs are my life! :) For as long as I can remember, animals and dogs were my love, my fascination, my friends. Horses I hold very dear to my heart and deeply miss my Commander; my beautiful bay roan Morgan. We now just have our dogs and some chickens. Definitely enough to keep us all on our toes for sure! I'm a country girl through and through and totally love and enjoy all aspects of raising this wonderful breed...........The One and Only.........Australian Cattle Dogs! I get asked all the time on "how I do it, how do I let these sweet babies go", my answer......."it really gives me such pleasure to pass the joy of a puppy on to others, knowing it's a new lifetime friend and family member, it's just awesome to see others so happy when they take their new puppy home. And then all the wonderful and special pictures and updates that I get from everyone and all the new friends I make, it just can't be beat"! I LOVE what I do! :)

We do ask that if you've never owned an ACD to PLEASE do your homework, read up on the breed and make absolutely SURE this is the right dog for you.......they are your friend for life, but this breed just isn't for everyone.
